“Gratitude assists us to create a culture of cooperation and harmony, where resentment has little chance of surviving – a culture the whole world is desperately in need of.”

Over the past 25 years of researching, teaching, and practising gratitude, I have discovered its formidable power to bring about deep and genuine connection – something that the world is in desperate need of right now. Extensive research and self-practise are showing me that when we express our gratitude we acknowledge the worth and value of that person and they become able to see more of this in themselves.

From working with leaders, teachers at all levels of education, academics, parents, elite athletes and their coaches, HR managers, other professionals and individuals, I have also discovered that gratitude resonates, no matter what the context. I am passionate about translating the research on gratitude into strategies that can help us to access it where it is difficult – in highly competitive, time-poor, and stressful environments or in fractured relationships. My research has shown that this is where gratitude has its greatest power.

Join me in my quest to bring deep, authentic, sustainable gratitude into our lives and workplaces.
